Our History

The history of Erickson-Smith Funeral Home & Cremation Service dates back to 1925, when Oscar and Loren Erickson acquired the funeral service business in Elbow Lake. The Hoffman location was established in 1946. Throughout the years, ownership passed from one esteemed funeral professional to the next, and the funeral home has become known for providing the very best in compassionate, personalized funeral care.
