William Frischmon

January 1, 1935 — April 25, 2021

Hoffman

After battling many forms of cancer, William “Bill” A. Frischmon, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home on April 25th, 2021.

Initially assigned to serve in Korea, Bill was stationed in the European theater of Germany and France with special attachment to the Air Force where he helped rebuild landing strips at military bases. He was a decorated veteran. After returning to the states, he continued with his heavy equipment operating skills and was quickly hired by twin cities firms.  When new models came to market, Bill was chosen as the go-to for demonstrations.  He was proud to help build and complete the Lowry Hill Tunnel and 35W on which many of us frequently travel!

After meeting his love, Ann Winiecki, in 1961 at a polka dance hall in Withrow, MN, they knew it was meant to be and quickly made lifetime plans, being blessed with three children.

Bill loved farming and had a passion for Case Tractors. He enjoyed attending conventions and reading anything related to Case, also becoming a longtime member of the Northland Case Collectors club.

Bill was an exemplary soldier, an accomplished mechanic, and a loving husband and father. Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann, his son Greg (Cindy), his daughters Jean (Mike), and Katie; adored Grandchildren: Peter, Elisabeth, Dane, and Drew; brothers John (Janet) and Jim, and sisters Joan, Mary, and Audrey; and many wonderful brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces.  Bill is preceded in death by his parents, John and Loretta, his infant twin sister Beth, and sisters Alice, Bernadine, and Janet.

Bill was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive husband and father. His knowledge and guidance were the foundation of his family. His unfaltering faith in Jesus was always present, and his family takes great comfort knowing that he is experiencing unimaginable peace and happiness in Heaven.
