Trudy L. Hill, 55, of Elbow Lake, MN, died on Monday, October 22, 2018 at her residence.

Trudy Lynn was born on September 24, 1963, at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Silas Monroe and Arlys Elaine (Drovdal) Hill. As a young child, Trudy helped her father on the family farm with the daily tasks. She attended and graduated from high school in Harold, South Dakota. Her father, Silas later purchased a Tool & Die business where Trudy helped. In her younger years she was very musical singing and playing the bass with her father at various local establishments. After school she joined the Army and served 3 years during Desert Strom before being honorably discharged. Trudy moved to Vancouver, Washington, where she met her partner Carla Campbell and resided there for 12 years. While in Vancouver, Trudy worked for Burlington Railroad.

In 2002, Trudy and Carla moved to Elbow Lake. Trudy loved spending time with her dad and was said to be a jack of all trades like him. She enjoyed mechanic work, woodworking and working with tools. She enjoyed fishing was very spiritual, humorous and had a great personality. Trudy was a great auntie to her nieces and nephews.

Trudy is survived by her one in a million friend, Carla Campbell of Hoffman; mother, Arlys Hill of South Dakota; sisters, Kathy Blake, Vicki Everett and Heidi Hill all of South Dakota along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Silas Hill and brother, Rick Hill.

Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the Senior Citizens Center in Hoffman, MN.
