Steven Mallak

Steven Mallak, 54 of Millerville, Minnesota died Thursday, September 25, 2014 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Steven Michael was born on September 2, 1960, in St. Cloud, Minnesota the son of Sylvester and Elizabeth (Ulginer) Mallak. He was baptized in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud and confirmed in the St. Williams Catholic Church in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. Steve graduated from the Becker High School in 1978. After his high school graduation he lived in various locations doing different jobs, prior to working several years with Federal Cartridge while he was living in Pease, Minnesota. In May of 2013, Steve began employment with Wasp Inc. in Glenwood, where he was working at the time of his death. He enjoyed woodworking, loved to travel the north shore from Duluth to Grand Marias and his great love was his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed family and especially time spent with his special friend, Cindy. He is survived by his parents, Sylvester and Betty Mallak of Millerville; brother, Mark (Sue) Mallak of St. Cloud; nieces and nephews, Eric, Chelsea, Aaron, Billy and Gabrielle; special friend, Cindy Ashling; and by many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael and Frances Mallak and Maurice and Balbina Ulginer. Funeral Mass: 11:00 am Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Millerville Visitation: one hour prior to the mass at the church. Clergy: Fr.
