Paula Endreson-Salter

Paula Endreson-Salter, 50, Elbow Lake, died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at the Prairie Ridge Hospital in Elbow Lake. Paula was born April 30, 1963, in Tacoma, Washington, one of six children born to James and Betty (Paul) Hutchinson Sr. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where she graduated from high school. Paula became a real estate agent following graduation and worked in property management. In her younger years, she enjoyed spending time and camping in the desert and Superstition Mountains with her family. Paula was very close to her mother, whom she considered her hero. While visiting family in Minnesota, Paula met Mark Endreson. The couple married in 1991 and had two daughters, Megan and Taylor. Paula raised her daughters and operated a daycare in her home. She was a great mother and her daughters meant everything to her. In November 2009, Paula and Bill Salter were married, and the couple made their home in Elbow Lake. Paula enjoyed nature and being in the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and camping and had most recently begun riding motorcycle. Paula loved thrift store shopping and spent much time talking on the phone with her sister Pam. She is survived by her husband Bill of Elbow Lake; daughters Megan Endreson of Anchorage, Alaska, and Taylor Endreson of Elbow Lake; step-son Matthew (April) Salter of Beaumont, Texas, and step-daughter Rebekah Salter of Elbow Lake; her sister, Pam (Bruce) Becksted of Prior Lake, Minnesota, and two brothers, Steve (Judy) Hutchinson of Farmington, Missouri, and John Hutchinson of Phoenix; and many nieces and nephews. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, James A. Hutchinson Jr. and Sherry Lynn Hutchinson Squires, and three step-grandchildren. Memorial Service: 5pm Friday, September 27, 2013, Bethlehem-West Elbow Lake Lutheran Church, Elbow Lake Clergy: Rev.
