Norma Ahlberg

Norma Ahlberg, 81 of Roseville, MN, formerly of Elbow Lake died Monday, September 21, 2020 at Cherrywood Pointe of Roseville at Lexington.

Norma Clarene was born December 19, 1938 to Thomas & Mabel (Vaa) Halvorson in Elbow Lake, MN. She grew up in Elbow Lake, graduating from Elbow Lake High School. She continued her education through the University of Minnesota, earning her teacher’s degree, and two Master’s Degrees.   Norma was united in marriage to Edward Ahlberg in White Bear Lake, MN. Edward died in 1995.

Norma was a quiet person who enjoyed reading, taking walks, and traveling.

Norma is survived by a sister, Marlene Kay McCauslin of Henderson, NV. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward, a sister, Lois Halvorson and a brother Irvin Halvorson.

A Graveside Committal Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at West Elbow Lake Cemetery, rural Elbow Lake.

Erickson-Smith Funeral Home of Elbow Lake is assisting the family with arrangements.
