Jennifer Lea Myron, 50 of Elbow Lake, died Friday, February 18, 2022, at her home.
Jennifer Lea Myron was born on January 12, 1972, the daughter of Theodore and Jane (Burgess) Myron. She was baptized in Rock Prairie Lutheran Church and confirmed in Aastad Lutheran Church. Jennifer graduated from the Elbow Lake High School in 1990, continued her education for one year at Wahpeton Science School and then attended the Alexandria Vo Technical School, graduating as an LPN.
She was employed with the Pelican Lake Health Care Center for seventeen years, Elbow Lake Clinic for seven years and worked the last ten years at the Barrett Care Center, where she was a nurse at the time of her death. Jennifer enjoyed crafting with her nieces, embroidering, cross stitching, crossword puzzles, scrabble, and loved to read the funny pages. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family and especially with Thea and Lilly. Jennifer was a member of Aastad Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her mother, Jane Myron of Elbow Lake; three brothers, Erik (Tif Shol) Myron of Fergus Falls, Andreas Myron of Elbow Lake and Justin (Jolee Ackerman) Myron of Wendell; two nieces, Lillian Ackerman and Theodora Myron; best friend, Tami Waskosky; and by numerous relatives and friends. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Myron; aunt, Christine Spaulding; grandparents, Harold and Marida Myron and Robert and Doris Burgess.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2022, at Rock Prairie Lutheran Church, rural Elbow Lake.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home, Elbow Lake with a 6:30 PM Prayer Service. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment at Aastad Lutheran Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN.
