Gary Fritz

Gary Raymond Fritz, 72, Barrett, died Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Galtier Health Center in St. Paul. He was met at Heaven's gates by his loving wife Louann Maureen Fritz and son Ricky D. Fritz. Gary was born on May 2, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Wilbert Edward and Irene Bertha (Lembecker) Fritz. He was baptized and confirmed as a child. On April 22, 1961, Gary was married to Louann M. (Quernemoen) Larson, and the couple made their home in Maplewood, Minnesota. To this union four children were born, Vicki L., Ricky D., Cindy L., and Gary R. "Rob" Jr. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, fishing, hunting and cooking. Gary most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his children Vicki (Tim) Orr of Oakdale, Cindy (Kerry) Hohnwaldt of Hoffman, and Rob (Julie) Fritz Jr. of Coon Rapids; step-children Sherri (Larry) Floan, Brian (Karen) Larson and David Larson, all of Alexandria, and grandchildren Jenni, Jamie, Stacy, Katie, Breanna, Ashley, Bobby, Dylan, Angie, David, Amber, Toni, Desiree and Shawn and many great-grandchildren; and seven siblings. He was preceded in death by his wife Louann and son Ricky; his parents Wilbert and Irene Fritz; siblings Gordon, Bradley, Dennis, Doug and Linda; and one grandson, Corey Larson.
