Donna Seibel

Donna Lou Rossum was born to Clifford and Erna (Hartleben) Rossum on September 1, 1932 in Wahpeton, ND. She would have two sisters, Helen and Elaine, and three brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Ray. In 1950, Donna married Walter Fisher, and they were blessed with five children: Cody, Jody, Jack, Cheri and Jeff. During their lifetime together, they lived in the Twin Cities area and in the country in Dalton. Over the years, Donna worked at West Publishing Company, became a licensed realtor, was a bookkeeper for the family businesses and was a homemaker. After losing Wally in 1994, Donna married Larry Seibel in 2001, and they were married until Larry passed away in 2003. Donna loved her family and spending time with them, she enjoyed visiting casinos on occasion, loved having fun and she was a dynamite cook. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Cody's band when they played traditional country music. Donna had a rare gift of always having a positive attitude, even after many grave events in her life. She loved to tease and joke around, and the sparkle stayed in her eyes, even on her very last day on earth. Donna Seibel passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Barrett Care Center. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wally in 1994; son, Jeff in 1998; husband, Larry in 2003; daughter, Jody in 2009; and her brothers, Kenny and Ray. She is survived by her loving children, Cody (Kimberly) Fisher, Jack Fisher, and Cheri (Larry) Hagner; sisters, Helen and Elaine and their husbands; brother, Don and his wife; her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. God bless Mom's most joyful soul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family. Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Elbow Lake, MN.
