Donna (Toddie) Olson, age 87, of Elbow Lake, passed away, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Barrett Care Center, Barrett, MN.
Donna Mae Ketter was born June 13, 1929 to Frank and Maylinda (Karger) Ketter in Frazee, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and graduated from Frazee High School.
On September 2, 1950, Toddie was united in marriage to Orlin Olson in Frazee. The couple made their home and raised their family in Elbow Lake. Toddie was a devoted and loving mother, a loyal friend, a tireless worker and a great asset to her husband's seed corn business. She was active in JCs, Cub Scouts, Church Ladies Aid and politics. She loved to garden, fish and travel, and could play a mean game of bidding whist. She was an avid sports fan and a lifelong Minnesota Twins supporter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Maylinda; her husband, Orlin and two sons, Scott and Donn and a niece, Kim Mellum. She is survived by her son, Lon (Dixie) Olson of Edina, MN; a sister, Delores Mellum of Fridley, MN; three grandchildren, Aaron, Micah and Hannah; five great grandchildren, Reeve, Luke, Nora, Abigail and Samuel and one nephew, Ron Mellum.
Her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M., Thursday, November 3, 2016, at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Elbow Lake, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment: Union Cemetery, Elbow Lake
