Donald Danzeisen

Donald Alan Danzeisen, 62, of Detroit Lakes, passed away on January 17, 2014, at his home. Donnie was born on November 7, 1951 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the son of Guy and Florence (Abraham) Danzeisen. He was baptized and confirmed at the First Presbyterian Church of Elbow Lake. He graduated from Elbow Lake High School in 1969. Don attended Alexandria Technical School in the computer field and, upon graduation, he went to work as a computer technician at NASA in West Virginia. He was there for a short time and then moved back to Minnesota. He was top salesman for combined insurance and had the privilege of having lunch with the commentator, Paul Harvey. He also was employed at NorCon, Barrett Automatic, and Lake Shirts of Detroit Lakes. Donnie loved life and was a free spirit. He loved all his kids and grandkids. Donnie was a loving person and was always willing to help someone in need. Preceding him in death were his parents, grandparents, and a nephew, Shawn Fosberg. He is survived by his children: Jamie (Susie) of Detroit Lakes, Heather Danzeisen of Detroit Lakes, Darcell (Kera) of Alexandria and Teran (Diana) of Fargo; sister, Judy (Gary) Fosberg of Ashby; nephews, Shannon (Ingrid) Fosberg of Ashby and Nick (Jessica) Fosberg of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Amber, Brittany, Christian, Dohnivan, Destiny, Dylan, Madilynn, Joey, James, and Teran Jr.; great-granddaughter, Lilliana; along with his two companions, Rusty and Tiny.
