Charles "Chuck" Walwick, 58, of Elbow Lake, died Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Prairie Ridge Hospital in Elbow Lake. Chuck was born May 11, 1956 in Fergus Falls, MN to Jerry and Jean (Larson) Walwick of Elbow Lake. Chuck was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake and graduated from Elbow Lake High School in 1974. Chuck went to Alexandria Technical Institute and graduated with an Avionics degree in 1976. He pursued his Avionics degree in Medford, Oregon. He continued his education at Moorhead State University where he graduated in May 1981 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Industrial Technology and minor in Business Administration. He returned to Elbow Lake where he worked for Paul Jennen surveying for drainage, operating all farm equipment and maintenance repair. In 1987 he went to work at Charlemar Incorporated in Elbow Lake as an Assistant and Production Manager. In 1989 he applied his technology and business degree at 3M in Alexandria. In May 2014, Chuck retired from 3M providing 25 years of dedicated service as a devoted employee, colleague and friend to many. For over 30 years, Chuck enjoyed farming over 500 acres of land with his Dad, Sons and hired hand(s) on the Walwick Heritage Farm. Chuck was married to Juleen Jacobson from Evansville, MN on September 1, 1984 at United Lutheran church in Elbow Lake. They resided in their starter home a few miles North of town and in 1987 they moved to the Walwick heritage farm. On April 14, 1987 they welcomed their first son Chad Alan Walwick and three years later, on June 5, 1990, they welcomed Kevin Jon Walwick. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, watching basketball, football and more. He enjoyed all music from the 70s and attended many concerts with his best friend Juleen where they both hummed the beat; his favorite was Fleetwood Mac. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his sons "his pride and joy"; many memories included vacationing, hunting, farming the land and passing time in conversation.
