Beverly Liebl

On Friday, August 15, 2014, Beverly Jean Liebl joined the other angels in heaven. Bev was born in Brainerd, MN on January 25, 1939, to Delbert and Ivy (Ramsdell) Christensen. She graduated from Glenwood High School in 1957. She married the "love of her life", Darrel Liebl on June 8, 1957 at Sacred Heart Church in Glenwood (57 years ago). The first years of marriage they traveled to Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, and then back to Minnesota for Darrel's work. In 1963 they moved to the farm in Elbow Lake and made a permanent home. Bev loved her farm, and loved animals, gardening, sewing, baking and playing games. She loved babies. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. Her nicknames were Green Grandma, Grape Grandma, Grammie and Margaret. She loved family time and get togethers. She also 'adopted' many others as children and grandchildren. She is survived by husband, Darrel; daughters, Barbara (Duane) Fleischfresser, Elbow Lake, Diane (Jerry) Butenhoff, Barnesville, Judith (Tim) Lewis, Barnesville; sons, Darrel (Kathy) Liebl II, Valparaiso, IN, Jerome (Laurel) Liebl, Elbow Lake; daughters, Elizabeth (Rusty) Miller, and Anita (Kilo Marie), Morris. Grandkids, Jessie Fleischfresser, Teresa (Tad) Wright, Amanda (Randy) Johnk, Greg (Kim) Fleischfresser, Wayne (Sara) Syverson, Renee (Ryan) Gilsrud, Brett (Tabitha) Syverson, Derek (Jamie) Syverson, Bobbi Lewis, Owen Lewis, Wylie Lewis, Stephanie Liebl, Darrel Liebl III, Anne Liebl, Grace Liebl, Louise Liebl, Joseph Liebl II, Kristina (Andy) Stoskopf, Eric Miller, Trinity Eckberg, and 13 great-grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, son-in-law, Terry Syverson and great-grandson, Beau Charles Fleischfresser. Visitation: 5 - 7 PM Wednesday at St. Olaf's Catholic Church in Elbow Lake, with Rosary at 6:45 PM followed by parish prayers. Visitation resumes one hour prior to the service.
