Arden Allen

December 14, 1943 — July 18, 2011

Arden Allen, 67, died at his rural Elbow Lake home on Monday, July 18, 2011. He was born in Canby, Minnesota, on December 14, 1943, to Albert and Ann Allen. Arden attended school in Miltona and Alexandria. He married Bonnie Karger on May 18, 1963, and they had four children. He worked in a tire warehouse for many years, later became a bouncer at the Hexagon Bar in Minneapolis, and drove semi truck before retiring and moving to Elbow Lake. Arden's hobbies were collecting Hotwheels cars and trucks and, of course, his 1961 Chevy, and car club and car shows. Arden is survived by 4 children, Margo Skinner, Holly Danielson, Jamie (Stephanie) Allen, and Jerud Allen; former wife and friend, Bonnie Turpin; nine grandchildren, Dustin (Amanda) Allen, Jesse (Karmen) Allen, Dylan (Vicky) Skinner, Jill Skinner, Casey Skinner, Nicole Allen, Melissa Danielson, Brandon Danielson, and Tyler Allen; 11 great-grandchildren, Ethan Allen, Evan Allen, Jeris Lemm, Noah Mallory, Mason Mallory, Elyzabeth Skinner, McKenzie Hart, Makayla Hart, Antwone Danielson Barnes, Isabella Jacobs, and Kaylee Danielson; and many neices and nephews. He was preceeded in death by both parents Albert and Ann Allen, infant sister Arlinda Allen, and an infant brother. We will all miss him very much and he is very loved.
